The borough of Pleasant Hills was incorporated into Allegheny County in 1947. Pleasant Hills is a suburb of Pittsburgh with a population of over 8,200 according to the 2010 census. Pleasant Hills is bordered by Baldwin to the northwest, West Mifflin to the northeast, Jefferson Hills to the southeast, and South Park Township to the southwest.
